Strength Training 101: A Workshop to Empower, Educate and Transform at Fitness First

Step into a space designed to help women build strength, confidence and clarity in their fitness journey. Strength Training 101, hosted by Fitness First, is a dynamic 90-minute workshop focused on demystifying strength training and redefining what it means to feel strong in your body.

Taking place on Saturday 12 July from 11:30am to 1:00pm, this event invites attendees to learn how to lift with confidence, boost their metabolism and shape their bodies with intention no matter where you are on their fitness journey.

Led by Kelsey Wiebe, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and founder of Rediscover You, the session is rooted in education and empowerment. Kelsey’s approach explores how your body works, how to train it effectively and how to feel in control every time you step into the gym.

Throughout the session, you’ll explore:

  • How to train in a way that naturally revs up your metabolism
  • The basics of safe, effective strength training and how to tailor it to your body
  • The art of sculpting lean muscle without the fear of “bulking”
  • A mindset shift that leaves you feeling stronger inside and out

This is a space to ask questions, get hands-on guidance, and walk away with a practical plan.

The workshop is free to attend, but spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential.
