Christmas Lights Switch On, St Albans, 16th November

Christopher Place Shopping Centre will sparkle into the festive season on Sunday 16th November, as it hosts a special Christmas Light Switch-On event in support of the St Albans Christmas Cracker.

From 2pm to 5pm, visitors are invited to get into the Christmas spirit and warm up with us before the big city-wide switch-on. Enjoy live music from the much-loved local jazz trio The Roxy’s, performing festive favourites and smooth seasonal classics throughout the afternoon.

Guests can indulge in a truly festive experience with hot chocolate from Hatch, mulled wine from Tomoka, and a complimentary glass of prosecco in Jigsaw and Vourla, making Christopher Place the perfect stop before heading into the main city celebrations.

The event is free to attend and promises an afternoon filled with music, community spirit, and seasonal treats. Visitors can also take advantage of ample parking available in the Christopher Place car park, conveniently located on Upper Dagnall Street, St Albans.
